But in the same breath, he maintained he isn't the least bit worried about them. <br />"Players have responsibilities, and if they don't do their jobs certain things happen," he said. "Coaches have responsibilities, and if they don't do their job, things happen. My mind doesn't focus like that. I don't worry about who I need to talk to, am I OK. These 53 guys, that's my responsibility. The last thing I'm thinking about is my job security." <br />ESPN's Adam Schefter reported in the wake of the 49ers' 16-14 loss at Atlanta on Sunday that <a href="http://www.buy-jersey.com/nfljerseyschicagobears50singletarydarkbluejersey-p-1457.html" target="_blank" class="postlink">Singletary Jersey</a>'s job is safe through this season, but perhaps only because there is no adequate replacement on the staff. Schefter's report added that <a href="http://www.buy-jersey.com/nfljerseyschicagobears50singletarydarkbluejersey-p-1457.html" target="_blank" class="postlink">Singletary Jersey</a> could be fired at season's end even if the coach rallies the 49ers to a playoff spot. <br /><a href="http://www.buy-jersey.com/nfljerseyschicagobears50singletarydarkbluejersey-p-1457.html" target="_blank" class="postlink">Singletary Jersey</a> maintained he isn't paying attention. <br />"The most important thing that I'm thinking about is where this team is going, the direction of this team," he said. "As far as all that other stuff, there are coaches right now that are riding pretty high, and at the end of the season, their job will be in jeopardy." <br />The coach also said despite the deep hole the 49ers have dug for themselves, he remains optimistic. <br />"My high hopes, they haven't gone anywhere," he said. "I mean, there are still high hopes. We're 0-4, but we have a lot of football games to play. The way our team's playing, I'm very encouraged by what I see. I'm very encouraged by what I hear our guys talking about and where their focus is. ... The last thing I'm doing is sitting around thinking, 'Oh man, I've got these problems. I got this, I got that.' I'm thankful that I have problems to deal with." <br />There isn't much sweet about being 0-4, but there are factors that can keep the 49ers hopeful. First, the other three teams in the NFC West are all 2-2, and the 49ers still have five division games to play.
